Hi guys, I've only just found this website. I'm a student and skater in Leeds. I've already sett up a longboarding group on Facebook with a load of people I've met but it'd be great to meet more people up for a skate. We meet up whenever we can but we're always looking for new people and places to skate. Al.. Sam... soz for flaking on you guys the other weekend 22/10 I literally died from alcohol and then was reborn. Anyway, the point is we've go a proper crew now!!! Look at all these people! Next month is pay day. I'm looking at getting a GoPro HD. We should shoot a crew video or at least a crew photo. Also, next dry weekend we have I think we should meet up and take everyone to the Hillclimb.

Ignore the last post, DUH! Anyway just moved to Leeds area been a few places Hyde Park, Roundhay etc, all in all I love Leeds great area to skate. i've done a few long distance trips before mainly for charity but this time I'd like to set one up purely for the fun and enjoyment without the pressure of raising money (not that I didnt enjoy it before and not that raising money for a good cause is bad, you know what I mean). So I was thinking in the new year sometime from Leeds to Blackpool, I've worked it out at being just short of 70 miles, this is self torture of an extreme nature but loads of fun if you put in some training before hand. So if anyones interested in the trip and a few pints at the end let me know, be good to have some company and a laugh on the way, the plan is to drop my car there day before so theres transport back, overnight stay. Depending on start time and distance covered might be a 2 dayer. Cmon feel the pain and quench your thirst.

I've been a shocking loser and neglected my longboards ALL summer on account of getting a new girlfriend. I have debased myself, spending warm summer days in bed instead of riding the streets. The roads are wet this morning. It's cloudy but not raining. Weather forecast says some wind should pick up so the roads should dry quite quick. Showers predicted for 7pm so as soon as it dries up we need to hit the road of we are gonna make the most of it.
